On behalf of the Chinese Society of Toxicology (CST), it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 17th International Congress of Toxicology (ICT XVII) in Beijing. After 12 years, the ICT returns to Asia, and CST is honored to partner with the International Union of Toxicology (IUTOX) to co-host this prestigious event.

Over the past three years, the CST team has worked closely with IUTOX and colleagues from member societies worldwide to develop a rich and inspiring scientific program. This year’s congress features 10 keynote lectures, 34 symposia, 6 continuing education courses, and 10 workshops—all designed to showcase excellence and diversity in toxicology, while advancing our shared mission of promoting safer environments and healthier lives.

This congress brings together scientists, professionals, and educators from around the world, creating a vibrant community of learning and exchange. It offers an international platform to share pioneering research, spark new ideas, and foster collaborations that strengthen the field of toxicology and contribute to solutions for today’s most urgent health and environmental challenges.

Finally, I hope you will also enjoy the cultural richness of Beijing. With its unique blend of ancient traditions and modern vitality, the city provides a remarkable setting for this gathering.
