Bio: Gilles RIVIERE, after his PhD (Pasteur Institute, France) and his post-doc (United States), joined the Pharma industry for 10 years working on in-development molecules mainly dealing with Toxicology and Pharmacokinetics. In 2009, he joined Anses as Toxicologist where he was involved in food safety dealing with contaminants and regulated products. Since 2022, he is involved in the Partnership for the Assessment of Risk from Chemicals (PARC) as work-package leader. In parallel, he is expert at the European Authority for Food Safety (Efsa) where he works on the risk assessment of Food Contact Materials.
