Nan Mei

Dr. Mei is a highly experienced and accomplished genetic toxicology scientist who has conducted research in China, Japan, Canada, and the USA. He received his medical degree from Hebei Medical University (China) in 1984 and his Ph.D. from the University of Occupational and Environmental Health (Japan) in 1997. He worked as a postdoctoral follow in Cross Cancer Institute (Canada) from 1998 to 2001. Since 2002, Dr. Mei has been a research scientist in the Division of Genetic and Molecular Toxicology at the U.S. FDA’s National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR). Dr. Mei’s research efforts have led to 131 peer-reviewed articles and 17 book chapters. He has been elected to several positions in scientific societies, such as the Society of Toxicology (SOT) and the Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EMGS). Currently, he serves as an editorial board member for 4 journals including Current Research in Toxicology, Mutagenesis, Mutation Research, and Toxicology Letters.
