Bio: I am the director of the Department of Radiation Toxicology and Risk Assessment, Beijing Institute of Radiation Medicine. I am working in the field of radiotoxicology and radiobiology, genotoxicology since 1985. My research topics include the low dose radiation effect and carcinogenesis, DNA damage and repair, and space radiobiology. I was ever worked as a visiting fellow in Paterson Institute for Cancer Research in Manchester, UK (1994-1995), and as a research fellow in Institute Curie in Paris, France (1998-2000). I obtained Outstanding Contributions Award to Radiation Research by the Asian Association for Radiation Research in 2013. I was former the President of the Chinese Society of Toxicology
