Bio: Professor Emeritus Tsung-Jung Liu trained in toxicology at the University of Iowa, USA. In Taiwan, he taught at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, focusing on betel quid and cigarette-related oral cancer and biomarker identification using HPLC mass spectrometry. He contributed to regulatory toxicology, establishing in vitro and in vivo testing labs and Taiwan's first GTP-compatible cell facility in Taipei Veterans General Hospital. He serves as a board member for the Toxicology Society of Taiwan (TSTA) and the Taiwan Society of Quality Assurance (TSQA).
