Bio: Dr. Tianyi Jiang serves as the chair of the RDPAC nonclinical working group. He is currently head of toxicology in the department of pharmaceutical sciences (PS) at China Innovation Center of Roche (CICoR). Tianyi graduated from the University of Southern California with a Ph.D. in molecular pharmacology and toxicology and holds an additional M.S. degree in regulatory sciences. Shortly after graduation, in 2014, Tianyi joined Roche as toxicology project leader and since then had led/supported 30+ discovery and development projects providing toxicology strategy. From 2017 to 2019, he additionally was the mechanistic safety group leader, responsible for developing innovative safety assays. Tianyi became a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology in 2018 and assumed the role of head of toxicology since 2019 and Roche China Animal Welfare Officer since 2020. Tianyi is currently a council member of the Chinese society of toxicology and a member of the IQ China subteam. He was selected for the “pearl” talent program of Pudong district of Shanghai in 2024.
